DEPLOY_LOCK_AREA error when deploying the changes to an application

Hello,

We are getting this error when we try to deploy a application from NWDS.

Reason: Cannot lock [2009120911472087200000fis0199.domain.com.......354889750, DEPLOY_LOCK_AREA, domain.com/dcname, X]; it is in use by the same owner. In case of lock mode "R" the lock propagation failed, because the optimistic lock is gone.; nested exception is:

We tried applying the note 710966 to get rid of this application, but nothing helped us to get through this issue.

Please let me know how to get through this issue, and that would be of great help.

Closing this thread, restarting server helped

You could try to release the lock by logging into the Visual administrator --> locking adatper.

I tried to find the version of BPEM CORE as mentiond in note. But information is not available in when tried to find it in system info.

Can you please explain what this means?

Hi,

As per the note the Version is 7.11 and SP1.

AS for 7.1 there is no Visual admin, You have to unclock the locls using the NWA as mentioned in the note.

Please go through then ote once again.
