Barcode with HUM implemented - Individual item level identification

Hello,

I was reading a comparison between Bar code & RFID technology where it was mentioned that in Bar code we have Product level identification.... As per my understanding with HUM implemented we can have Individual object/item level identification similar to RFID, where each object is tracked through HU number .

Please advice your views on the same ..

Hi Kaushik

I know its a long time....but I was also given to understand the HUM allows such an option but I am not able to pass on the HUM from the inbound to outbound so as to ensure that I have a unique HUM till the last mile delivery ....any ideas ?
