Not able to import the IR objects

Hi

I am trying to export the IR Objects from XI Dev system and importing the same in XI QA System.

But the same is not getting imported, even though the message is showing successful

Can you pls help

Are you trying to import some deleted objects in QA? Coz you sid message is showing successful.

If you are trying to do the same then don't forget to tick the check box "incldue deleted objects" while exporting them from Dev.

Let me know if you are doing someting else.

In your Dev, Tools --->Transport objects, then fillup the filter cretiera and see the objects which you want to EXPORT are in this list or not. Do the same after importing into QA and check if objects which you wnated to IMPORT are there of not.

Note: After importing the objects in QA, activate the whole change list at once. Don't activate any of the part separately.

Yes i am doing the same, but still not working.

Forgot to mention one more thing.

Actually QA systems was created by doing system copy of Dev system.

After doing some change in business system, QA system is working fine.

The old interfaces are working fine even now.

Yesterday i created new interface, that one i am not able import

Chekc the BS in Dev SLD and see if it contains transport target as QA system.

Hi Madhan,

Check if the change list notification is in green status in IR -> Environment -> Cache notifications.

If the status is red, try doing the notification manually.

Then i think its the version problem as you have posted in the other thread.

Is the other thread talking about the same ?

In QA system, you should not have Objects are original objects and Objects are Modifiable checked.

Yes you are correct, i have opened one more thread

Even though i remove those flag's (original objects and Objects are Modifiable checked) and import the IR objects.

Still it is not getting imported.

Hi Madhan,

Delete the current change list. Then delete the existing IR object which you are trying to export.

Create a fresh file from DEV, export it and then import in QA.
