hi,

This is samrat chakraborty. I have a basis guy. I do have a sap 4.7 ides version with oracle 4.7. I am facing a problem with brtools. I am not able to connect brtools through os command promt.

Plz give me a solution

Very Strange version of Oracle....i never heard 4.7 version in Oracle

Anyway paste the log what exact you found at the time you executing BRTOOLS?

Are you logged into system with SIDADM or not?

And experts can give you proper/immediate solution only if you posted detailed message, update this message with OS version.

Hello sir,

This is samrat chakraborty again. i have sap 4.7 server with oracle 8i on windows 2000 server. I am not able to connect brtools through os level command prompt. It shows me BR155E no value found for option '-f'

Hello,

Oracle 8i is not supported by SAP for R/3 4.7 versions and also (assuming) WINDOWS 2000 server IA32 is also supported under some restrictions. Check PAM for more details.

You can try to update BRTOOLS, also try starting BRTOOLS from the 'exe' directory.

D:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\exe\run>brtools

You can download the last patch for BRTOOLS that is 136 for Oracle 8i from Service market place.
