Problem with backup after upgrade

Hello,

We have just perfomred EHP1 upgrade of our BI systems (NW 7 on WIn+Ora)

While taking offline backup we get the following error:

BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2009-12-24 11.21.01
BR0301E SQL error -1031 at location BrSapTspList-8, SQL statement:
'PREPARE stmt_1 STATEMENT FROM'
'SELECT TABSPACE FROM "SAPSR3".TSORA UNION SELECT INDSPACE FROM "SAPSR3".TSORA ORDER BY 1'
ORA-01031: insufficient privileges

BR0056I End of database backup: becewtoq.afd 2009-12-24 11.21.01
BR0280I BRBACKUP time stamp: 2009-12-24 11.21.01
BR0054I BRBACKUP terminated with errors

We have run the necessary sql authorization scripts :

sapconn_role.sql

sapdba_role.sql

Have you checked note 400241 ?

If not, please check the General checks section in then note.

Problem is resolved.

I was using incorrect syntax for sapdba_role.sql

Our schema name is SAPR3. SO the correct syntax is:

@sapdba_role.sql R3

not @sapdba_role.sql SAPR3
