Error during installation of SOLMAN on Configure SLD Step

Hi all,

I was installing SAP Solution Manager 7.0 EhP1, oracle database . Once I got to step 42 of 48, Configure System Landscape. The installation stop and I got this error. (installing on Linux SuSE 10)

An error occurred while processing option SAP Solution Manager 7.0 Ehp1 > SAP Systems > Oracle > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step: Java EE Engine configuration error. DIAGNOSIS: See output of log file java.log: 'IO EXCEPTION: Connection refused::)

In sapinst.log showing ERROR: CJS-30059 Java EE Engine configuration error.

and ERROR: FCO-00011 The step configSLDMainLocalImportContrnt with step key ....

Hi,

Is your SLD up and running? Did you configure a local SLD to run on the same server?

Can you connect to the SLD by:

http://host:port/sld ?

Hi, everything went well until this step. seem like the <localhost>:58600 is not connected or something. I'm not sure what should I do.

Is your Java part configured well: is there enough memory, is it started well during error?

Also i can't connect to my SLD. i came across someone saying the only compatible java version is j2sdk 1.4.2_17 so i have also installed java j2sdk 1.4.2_17.

What shall i do??

Hi,

During installation what option you took for SLD ?

Was it local SLD or some other SLD ?

Also, paste the log here ?
