From Where does the Purchasing Group picks during Shopping Cart Creation ?

Dear All,

User had created a Shopping Cart, in which a different Purchasing Group is picked which is different from that given in Material Master , user says that the Purchasing Grp picked during S.C Creation is different, Can ne one guide that from where does the Purchasing Grp picks up during S.C Creation.I have found some refernces n came to know that in so many cases the Shopping cart is having Pur. Grp picked up is as same as that maintained in material master.But in this case the Purch. grp picked is different from that in mat. master.

In your ppoma, the product category responsibiliy tab (purchase group)

in ppoma_bbp

purchase group

under that

responsible product category

so

001 product category assigned to george Purchase group

when you create a cart 001 - george is your purchaser

Thanx for reply but i m not having auth to use this t. codewhich u wrote , so i m using - > PPOSA_BBP, Here i have chosen the Pur. Grp and clicked on Responsibilty tab but here no any Prod. Catogary is maintained.Please guide what else cud b chked.

hi

First allign the purchase group in the sorted order in the left hand pane

and go the purchase group which is in the shopping card basic data

and click the purchase group

and you can see the purchase group in the right hand side

then go to responsibility tab of that Purchase group

here you can see the product category .

or

go bbp_pd

search organisation

here you might get 5XXXXXX for purchase group

in this 5XXXXXX pur group you can see product category

Chkd and found there is no Prd. catagory is maintained for that Purchasing Grp, One ,ore thing i need to share that in basic data of Shopping Cart i m not able to see the Purchasing grp , asim seeing this Pur. Grp in Follow on Document i.e in Purchase Requisition.

As far as the t. code = go bbp_pd , is concerned pl guide step by step i really not used trxn before that's why .

Only these Fields are available in Basic data for SRM Front end ., here i m not able to see that which Pur. Grp is picked up during Shopping Cart creation.

between 6 and 7 i.e Storage location and order quantity you must get a field for purchasing group.

i belive some one has hidden this field via BADI or template changes.

in standard Purchase group comes betweeen sl and order qty.

Yes but in my case the Pur. Grp is not visible here , pl. guide that what i can do to chk that from where does the Purc. grp is being picked during S.C Creation.

Please check for the user in the Default setting (SRM WEB page) in this purchasing group is there
