How To close the page

Experts,

After clicking on one button on first page. It is going to 2nd page and after filling some editable field i will click on Button. So that page will close and data which is updated should reflect one first page.

How to achieve???????..

Define navigations links and fire the corresponding outbound plugs from the event handlers for the buttons.
