TEM and SLCM Relation

Hi Everyone,

I am wondering if it is to possible to use TEM (Training and Event Management) instead of SLCM ? Can we use TEM as a substitute of SLCM and map the modules, events and resources like we can do in SLCM or are there big differences? I would be very glad if aynone can explain the relationship between those..

Hi Kerem.

There are big differences between TEM and SLCM. In spite SLCM uses some of the TEM functionality to manage some part of the event planning (Events and resources), you won't be able to handle with it many things a University requieres. For example, all the academic structure thing, the more complex appraisal and grading a University needs, processes that are inherent to an University such as Admission, registration and de-registration to programas, Audits, Progression, Assesments, among others.
