Hi Experts!

We have installed PI 7.1, the post installation steps are also done.

I was just trying to test whether all the components are working fine or not , Could anyone guide me with the steps/transactions to be performed to test all the components. i am tryign to creat file to file scenario etc to test but i dont think this way i can check everything.i may not be able to configure scenarios for all types of adapter.

Is there any quick check list or methods to do this check in a better way.

Thanks for your suggestions!

Regards,

Srini

Hi Srinivas,

---> I think if you run the template which will be in the NWA.

http://hostname:portno/nwa.

--> All the post installation steps will be done automatically,With out doing it manually.

--> If running the template fails means i think we need to perform it manually.

-->When i had done PI 7.0 installation after completion of the installation simply i run the template and every thing goes fine and i configured the Pipeline steps manually in the SXMB_ADM.

--> If i am wrong please correct me and share the information.

Thanks

Pavan

Hi Srinivas,

--> I suggest you to test the end-to-end scenario. For example you can consider the Sipmle File To File Scenario.

---> For this you need to create the Product ,S/w component ,Technical System and Business System in the SLD and in the ESR you need to import the S/w Component from your SLD and under that you need to design your data types and etc......

--> In this case when you are trying to import the SLD Components if it is not accesbile then you can trouble shoot,by running the Template.

-->And coming to ID when configuring the Adapters if you can not see the adapters list .you need to import the .TPZ file .This .TPZ file will be placed in your server location and import.

---> After succesfull picking of the Source file if you can not see the messages in the SXMB_MONI ,configure the SXMB_ADM settings.

Thanks

Since Post Installation Guide procedures are followed majority checks would have been done.

Some basic like SLDCHECK, SLDAPICUST will ensure that connection with SLD is proper.

Also Check the How to Handle Cache guide, one thing that you can do collectively for all the adapters is that check if the Adapter Metadata is properly imported for all the required adapters.

Abhishek.
