Can you tell me in which scenerio the validation is required??

Hi Raj,

Validations are used to maintain high daa quality, using validations you can restrict the user to enter proper data values. For example: You can put a validation that for each Customer that you create in a EU country, VAT Registration number is mandatory and further validate that the Country Code entered in in the VAT Number matches the selected country of address.

Hi Raj,

Validations are required to maintian data quality and to certain extent propertis of the field. By using the functions provided in the validations tab build the expressions and use them. The build validation can be reused.

For Example:

VAT number should not be present for US.

PO Box should be 5 or 10 digits for US.

VAT number is a mandatory field.
