Planned Revenue / Exchange Rate

HI,

Below is the sample scenario;

SO currency = Company Code currency = EUR

CO currency = USD

SO value = 500 EUR

SO milestones: 1 in the year 2010 and another in 2011

P - rate avaialble in system till 2010 and the rate is 1.4

So in CN41 i would expect to see a planned revenue of = 500 * 1.4 = 700 USD

Instead CN41 is showing a value in USD using the oldest P-rate available in the system.

Why is system using the oldest rate instead of latest available rate for conversion? Is there any specific settinge pertaining to exchange rate or Versions that we have to maintaing during year end to correct this issue?

We figured that for the year 2011 the valued date was wrongly updated in the versions. Correcting that solved the issue.

HI,

It is taking the correct exchange -rate, but the problem is instead of taking the latest available rate (2010) values system is taking the oldest available (2000) value. Any idea why this is happening.
