Installation of a SAP DB backend for the web dynpro tutorial

Hello Experts,

I just work my way through all tutorials of the new

J2EE Development studio.

I have come to the second tutorial now, where a backend of a SAP DB installation is required. I am working on my home PC. How can I install such a SAP DB or load at least the flight tutorial into a new DB.

I worked with the MiniWAS 6.10 which has a backend version 7.30 but the J2EE 6.4 has no backend. I can see in the Data Base Manager a SAP DB but I cannot log on to it.

How can I proceed with the tutorial?

Where do I get a SAP DB with the flight tables?

Hi,

using a home pc, i guess you also have a miniSAP 4.6D installed. The Flight table comes with it.

Hello Kelvin,

Yes, I had the MiniWAS 6.1 installed. But I could not complete the installation for the J2EE installation of 6.3 because the DB installation of the MinWAS had a DB version 7.3.

What do you use?

In what order did you install it?

Or what is the work around?
