Number ranges

Hi Dear All,

I would like to know how billing number range to be maintained differently for each plant wise ,some thing related to this topic in detail will be very helpful

Dear,

In standard way u need to first create different Billing Types for different Plants and maintain COPY CONTROL to ur Order Type and finally assign the unique no. range to each one of it.

It is also usefull in generatin reports plant wise.

Hi,

Please go through this link. The link shows how to create document number with respect to sales organization; same logic can be used for document type + Plant. Get help from an ABAPer.

Create a Z- table say ZV_NUMRANGE for the combination of plant, billing type & number range object. There maintain some objects according to plant and save.

Next go to VN01 and maintain number ranges according to requirement and save.

Finally apply USEREXIT_NUMBER_RANGE (Module pool SAPLV60A, program RV60AFZZ) and trigger the above table as and when VF01 or VF04 is executed.
