hi friends,
I created a folder in the MIME repository to store my custom icons, the folder is /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/public/convenis/
The problem is that when I execute the WebDynpro application, it asks me the user and password for every icon in my custom folder which is being used. Anybody knows how to avoid this user/password authentication ?
Hi,
You have two options:
- either to create a MIME repository inside your WebDynpro application (if these Mime are also used in this application) and in that case, no authentication
- either to store them outside you WebDynpro application (as you do) and in this case you have to change the settings of the associated service in SICF transaction. Browse down to your MIME service and change the authentication scheme to anonymous
Hope this helps
Yann

Hi Yann,
if I change the authentication scheme to anonymous, then the user will be asked for
user and password at first time of accessing the server (if I am not wrong).
I don't want the user to be asked for that, that's why I have a user and password in the
service configuration. But with the new icons it asks me sometimes to input user and
password...
I hope somebody can help me
