Hi Everyone,
I'm struggling with SAP for couple of days. I really get confused with what, when and how to use terms like WebDynpro, pdk, abap and likewise really confuse me....
When to use developer studio ...
I have one J2EE application, that I need to integrate with SAP. I may need to change look & feel, implement SSO etc...
What all the various methods/solutions SAP provides, I need something quick.
Pls help..
Hi
pls refer glossary for all
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_glossary/en/index.htm
ABAP: Advanced Business Application Programming. The SAP programming language.
Webdynpro:The development and runtime environment used to create professional user interfaces for business applications powered by SAP NetWeaver.
PDK: Portal development kit
For implementing SSO, here you go a simple weblog

Hi Jawahar,
Thanks for the reply.
I was already working with that blog, now I could login to my application using UIDPW method for SSO.
But now problem is that, i have so many users who can login to my application then do I need to map all users the way i did for one. Is there any other solution for this.
thanks
oh..oh
Wish you good luck, in the mean time will update you if i could find something
By the way, one more question..
my organisation objective is to have "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" logo on the application.
For this i think I need to build and migrate UI content on EP. Create iViews, Interface with SSO, and Give Portals Look and Feel
As you have mentioned do I need to use WebDynpro? is it.
Actually I'm confused.......with App Integrator and all this.
I have just done with app integrator, should i do it with WebDynPro???
pls reply...........
