Analyze Patch Using Solution Manager

HI,

In Solution Manager there is one functionality that, when you apply any patch in your ECC server, before applying you can check it in Solution Manager. You can check which business process are affected by that patch. So we can get the idea about side affect of patch on our business process.

So my question is, where we can check these kind of functionality in Solution Maanger? Any new configuration is require for that in Soluton Manager?

HI Nisit,

This you can get in Maintenance Optimizer. While downloading any patches, you can generate a side effect report which will be mailed to your id and there you can get your required details.

You need to configure maintenance optimizer for this.
