Hi All,
I have a quant in my quality system which has no storage unit even though the storage type is storage unit managed. I believe this probably happened when converting from non storage unit managed to storage unit managed.
How can i get rid of this quant? Either have a storage unit assigned to the quant or remve the quant.
I cannot remove the storage unit indicator for the storage type as it gives me error that quant exists.
When i try to move it out of the bin, the TO update fails (TO creation fails)
I tried a few things, but none worked.
Hopefully someone has an answer.
Thanks
jithin
Hi,
Thanks for your points
Iam giving you 2 options to solve your issue
1.
You can look in table LEIN for SU number gaps, choose a number from
this gap and add this number for one of the quants without an SU
number now.
In a second step then the report rltreorg2 must be executed to really
create the new (old) storage unit numbers in table LEIN.
2.
OR change the quant at table level ( may be deactivate the SU managed flag for the quant) and post them technically into another
storage type and bin that in not SU managed.
Then you can create a new transfer order for each of the quants and
move them virtually back to the storage type and bin where they
physically are located. With this TO new storage unit numbers will
be created for the quants.

Ramana

Do you mean the LQUA table? How do you modify LQUA table without writing a program?

HI,
I have the same issue.
I have a storage type - P08 that I activated for SUM. I still have inventory in this storage type (without and storage unit numbers).
When I try an LT01 to move from this bin to another bin, I get an update terminate.
Any hints would be great.
Thanks.
JP
