Hello experts,

i purchased the SAP Developer Subscription and installed the deliverd SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR3 on SUSE Linux 11.2 64Bit. The installation was successfull and NetWeaver was running well.

Now i downloaded NetWeaver EHP1 SR1 from Service Marketplace and tried to install it. During installation i get the following error on Step 18 "Import ABAP":

sapparam: sapargv( argc, argv) has not been called.

sapparam(1c): No Profile used.

sapparam: SAPSYSTEMNAME neither in Profile nor in Commandline

/usr/sap/JSD/SYS/exe/run/R3load: START OF LOG: 20091221155024

/usr/sap/JSD/SYS/exe/run/R3load: job finished with 1 error(s)

/usr/sap/JSD/SYS/exe/run/R3load: END OF LOG: 20091221155024

Does anybody know whats the reason for this error? Is it a license problem? The installation key was correct.

Thanks & Regards

Jan

Hi Jan,

Please update the Kernel and try again.

This error particularly occurs due to kernel mismatch.

Cheers...,
