wat is the difference between Intercompany billing and Intracompany billing?

plz send me the configuration details about above scenarios step wise?

Hi,

Inter Company Billing refers Billing between Company codes. Intra Company refers within a company code. One may wonder what is the necessity of raising a bill within a company code. A company will have many plants at different places. In this case, when stocks are transferred between plants, it should accompany with the bills; this is a statutory requirement laid by Central Excise.
