How to change the default URL of the Webdynpro CTS_BROWSER ?

Hello,

I'm a sap basis guy, with very limited knowledge of abap webdynpro.

I have configured the CTS+ feature during which the web dynpro CTS_BROWSER has been activated.

The CTS_BROWSER webdynpro is hosted by our solution manager system in its own DNS, it means that when the CTS_BROWSER webdynpro is launched, the webdynpro logon page is not displayed

http://solman.domain:1080/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cts_browser

While trying to retrieve the URL

The following error was encountered:

Unable to determine IP address from host name

WhenI change manually the adress , the webdynpro is then displayed correctly.

http://solman.domain.dns:1080/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/cts_browser

I've read on help.sap that the default adress is automatically generated by the system

Is there a way to change ONLY for this webdynpro the default URL ? (without changing the FQHN of the server, etc)

I have searched in SE80, but I couldn't change the default settings in administration data.

It is not possible to change the URL only for one single Webdynpro application. You will need to maintain the fully qualified domain name on the server and as well as against the parameter icm/host_name_full. As said in the help the URL are generated by the system automatically and are based on the fully qualified host name as defined for the parameter icm/host_name_full.

You will need fully qualified for all webdynpro applications. Therefore my sugesstion would be take this opportunity and define the fully qualified domain name so that other webdynpro applications can be used in the future if required.
