R/3 Configuration in Portal

Hi,

I have installed SAP NetWeaver 2004 in my desktop, I want to configure SAP R/3 ( installed in my laptop (4.7 E)) in Portal to Extract some data from R/3 System to use in web applications. Please help with some useful resource.

Hi

here you go the connection parameter

1)Create the R/3 system in SLD

2)WAS connection paremeter is here

WAS Description --> Description.

WAS Host Name ---> R3host.domain.com:ABAP_WAS_port Deafult is: 8000 >> You can find R3 was port from R3 using tcod. SMICM -> goto -> services)

WAS Path ---> /sap/bc/bsp/sap

WAS Protocol --> http

3)Create system alias

4) Create user mapping , edit the user>> select the system alais & enter the valid r/3 user name & password
