Hi Jerome,

Iframes is an option for you. But Iframe is deprecated for current release <=CE7.1ehp1. But for furthur releases, i read somewhere that, Iframes will be available.

I used the IFrame UI element about a year ago. There was no problem utilizing it as I recall.

So, he may use it even with 7.0.

The IFrame had the problem that its content was reloaded with every server roundtrip which made it rather useless. That was the main reason for deprecating it. In release 7.1 this has been fixed and the IFrame is now able to keep its state. In any case, you should not use the IFrame to embed applications into Web Dynpro screens because this will not work. For such scenarios you should use the Portal functionality.

Yep got that. Thanks Armin.

But I just used it to place plain HTML with images. A bit to spiffy up an area with some CSS.

The guy who posted mentioned HTML only - so I guess it fits his requirements.
