Dear All,
I have a doubt regarding the location of ALMConfig.properties file in case of MI scenarios.
Is this file only present for MAM application or is it also available for every customized MI application(not xApps like MAM).
Actually I need to change few async/sync settings for an MI customized application.
As far as I know, we have this file only under client installation directory but plz clarify do we have any such file on MI server also???
Looking forward for inputs from your side.
Thanks & Regards,
Abhivyakti
Hi Abhivyakti,
ALMConfig.properties is specific to MAM.
MI Client or Server does not know about this file.
Please refer to [SAP Mobile Asset Management 2.0/2.5 PDF|http://ecohub.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/mobile/mobile-infrastructure/best%20practices%20for%20sap%20mobile%20engine%202.5/documentation/additional%20documentation/mam_enhancement%20guide.pdf]
Search for ALMConfig.properties in this document.
This file contains look & feel properties like background color, font face, font size, etc.
It is also possible to define a customer specific look & feel properties file. These ones should be included in a new file should be called ZALMConfig.properties. Any properties in this file will overwrite the standard property in standard ALMConfig.properties. This file should be stored on the same location than standard ALMConfig.properties. This allows changing the look & feel of the application in a central way and without modifying any JSP Page. This avoids loosing SAP support that would otherwise happen when modifying the JSP Pages.
Thanks & Regards,
Abhijit

Hi Abhijit,
Thanks for the info, but still my queries are not resolved.
1) Is this ALMConfig.properties specific only to MAM or MAU applications??
I am having my customized MI appliaction, here where I could find this file?
Because the file you have sent is talking again in context of MAM application only.
2) Do we have any such file on MI server??
Looking forward for replies.
Thanks & Regards,
Abhivyakti
Hi Abhivyakti,
What do you mean by customized MI application?
Does it mean that it is customized MAM or MAU application?
Or an application that you have created from scratch using MDK?
Also the file is not related to MI server, Its the MAM specific file and hence is packaged in these applications.
For the second question, MI server does not use such file and hence its not there.
Thanks & Regards,
Abhijit
