notification

Hi, While defects recording (qf01), I could not found any code group, where as I defined codes at qs41. I want to generate notification for internal problems. Please advise why those codes defined in qs41 were not appearing in qf01. do we need to create separate code groups for notification. Pls advise.

Hi Yadav,

Which report type you are using for defect recording and what is the catalog type of the catalog created in qs41 foe. ex. 1,2,3,a,b,c etc?

Hi

Defect codes when entered in defect recording flows to the notification automatically.

Catlog type 9 only used for the same.You need not to create New one for this.

in QS43 please check the "status of code group"-->it must be " released".

Also make sure that you have maintained defect class for each code.
