Which ehpi phase users should logoff the system

When using ehpi to apply any enhp(1...4) , eventually it runs into pre-processing then downtime phases.

Some people say that users should log off the system as soon as phase pre-processing starts, while

some other people say users can stay until the beginning of phase downtime.

Could you experts share your experience here?

It is depending scenario you choose. In case you are following downtime minimized scenario, you should stop any prod activities (i.e. log off of users etc...) right before downtime phase (EHPi will ask you to do so) . When you are following resource minimized scenario it is as you already wrote.
