Remote Client copy logs

Hey,

How do you check remote client copy logs ? I cant log in as client copy is in process.

I checked from MMC Console,I see background job is running but other than that i am not sure whether how much time left or any error logs etc..

Could anybody let me know what is the procedure to check the logs.

Hi,

Even when the client copy is running, you will be able to login to the system with sap* user and check logs through transaction scc3. However pre-requisite for the login is that the profile parameter "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar" is set to value to 0 in the system prior to copy. If this is not done, then login with sap* is also not possible and you will have to wait till the copy is over.

normally you can logon with Sap* and view the trace.
