Hi,

Normally gateway port 33xx should be enough for the systems to communicate. If you want to use load balancing open up 36xx where xx is the system number. Ideally no need to open dispatcher.

Regards.

Hi

The ports which need to be open are

Dispatcher 3200

Gateway 3300

Message Server 3600

Here 00 is the system number ,

basically the ports are 33<System number> , 36<Sys Nr> , and 32<Sys Nr> .

Also the entries need to be maintained in the /etc/services file on either sides.

sapms<SID> <Msg Server Port Number>/tcp

if SID is AAA and instance nuber is 00 , the entry in services file willbe

sapmsAAA 3600/tcp

Thanks

As said by Rishi Das, and good idea could be go to SM59 and check all RFC's between systems and there ports?.. to make life simpler i would say anything form your DEV to QTY, QTY to DEV and PRD, and PRD to QTY...as both LANu2019s are of your trust.
