Hello Guru,

I am SAP MM consultant and my client is using GTS at their site.I like to know what master data I need to set up from my side to complete the GTS process and what's the difference between ECCN number ,HTS Number and Schedule B code.

Hai,

first of all do you currently have Tariff code in Material Master maintained., if not then there is not much you have to do from your end.

HTS/SCHB are tariff import/export codes accepted internationally

ECCN is export classification of material

You are saying I dont need to maintain anything and as per my understanding I have to maintain data in Vendor master, Material Master and Info record..

When u say maintain do you mean transfer

if so yes u have to.

thanks for the prompt reply..Actually that was my question what setting I need to do in ECC 6.0 to make GTS functionality work?

Can you please tell me what setting I need to do in Vendor and Material master ? There are lot of different terms I am learning and its little confusing me.

Exacmple Tariff Code, Commodity Code , Certificate,ECCN number and HTS code..where do we assign all these in ECC 6.0.If you have any link please let me know..
