WHAT IS DMR & DMR at character level ?

There are two ways the Char level DMR can be created.

1.You can use DMR in the task list header after selecting "DMR at char.Level"

Remember : This Modification will be applicable to all the char in the task list(say for all 10 MIC's)

2.You can select "DMR at char level" in the task list header & apply DMR in the Characteristics level against individual char

WHAT IS DMR??

The answer of this question can be given many ways by many referrals still i will try to explain you in simple terms in short.

DMR is a Rule where you can maintain the various stages of inspection.

Means in simple terms In Quality Inspection when you want to skip the lot or characteristic ,can only be skipped by DMR.

As said it contains stage definitions which will change the stages dynamically from skip to inspection & inspection to skip.

DMR is applied at Inspection type or lot or at char level.

DMR at char level means :

You apply DMR to individual char or to all the char.When Inspection lot is generated ,while doing RR ,status of the Skipped char will become 4 : "Skipped".That means you need not to carry out result recording for the char.
