Hi All,
user tried to create 1 delivery for 6 sales orders but delivery got splitted in to 2deliveries.
1 delivery for 5 sales orders and the second delivery for 1 sales order.
I checked the following criterias but all of them are same in all orders
Ship to Party:
Ship to address:
Inco terms & Payment terms:
Confirmed Delivery date:
Shipping point:
Unloading point:
Delivery priority:
Route:
Delivery Creation Dates:
Item creation date:
Transportation group:
Loading group:
Availability of stock: I assume stock was availbale as both deliveries got created on same date & time
delivering plant
customer group
But item category is different and I think it may not be the reason for delivery spli. I replicated the same scenario in test system, I could create 1 delivery for all orders.
Can any one give me a clue what could have caused for delivery split.
Thanks,
JM
Hi
******************************************************************
o Deviating addresses of the partners even if the partner number is
the same. Here, only the address number is crucial for the split;
the address list parts are not checked.
******************************************************************
The key to understanding this is that whenever you make a change to
the partner address (even if the changes are the same to both line
items), the system only records that the partner address has changed.
There is no program to find out if the changes are the same or not for
both line items. So, a change is a change.
Now, once a change is made, the table VBPA gets a different entries for
ADRNR for both partners. Since the ADRNR has changed, the system notes
a difference between the partners, and this leads to a split.

Hi
I can suggest to check the inco term and inco term description ,if you have small space also in the description then system generates differnt delivery

hi jm,
try this:
go into delivery with vl02n
try to add the missing order by outhbound delivery / deliver sales order.
If you try, you will get a protokol perhaps with the reason of splitting.

Hi,
Refer OSS Note 355404 - Why was there a delivery split during creation?
Run program ZLE_ANALYZE_DELIVERY_SPLIT in SA38 and input the delivery numbers. The system will show the reason.
