Delete Company code from SRM org structure

Hi All,

I want to pull out some company code from SRM org structure so that these company codes will not be available for users for selection while creating a shopping cart.

These company codes are removed from the organization.

Please help me how to do that.

Hello,

Delete company code populated value in 'Function' tab for your concerned organizational units declared as company code in PPOMA_BBP transaction.

But, before doing this, you need to check if purchasing and financial documents were already created for those company codes both in R/3 and in SRM.

If you have only purchasing documents, you can do the transfer between companies using a specific report.

You will also have to re-organize users assignment in your SRM structure.

If financial documents are already recorded, i think it is not allowed to do so (see with financial consultant). If i am correct, you can only add a blocking check to forbid any new SC or PO creation on company codes you wanted to delete from your SRM organizational plan (same think in R/3) because you cannot delete old company code, you just can deactivate them to not have financial document inconsistency.
