Hi Friends,

For Projects we maintain two type of materials stock(item cat. L) and non stock (item cat. N),

Can we do the GI/GR for non stock items? what is the table to find out the list of materials by (L/N category)

Hi,

Non-Stock means that you are not going to store the material in your inventory,while doing GR it is consumed directly...

Stock means you will receive the goods as stock items in your store and when required you can issue the materials.

You can find the item category using the table TVPT..

For non stock items you can do GR but cant do GI bucause it will consume directly to object while doing GR
