Hi Gurus,

When i try to open ESB, the following exception occurs:

java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException

And i have searched this issue in SAP notes and find the solution:

Summary
Symptom

When trying to start the Java-based Download Manager, the loader displays the following error message:
"This application has Unexpectedly Quit"
When you click on "Details", the following error message is displayed:
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException
Other terms

DownloadManager error start
Reason and Prerequisites

The loader is unable to find a Java run time environment on the machine where the Download Manager is installed.
Solution

Install the proper Java run time environment.

but i still get confused because i have installed the J2SE 1.5+ in my laptop, so could you pls provide me a how-to guide to correct this issue?

some other information:

1.I can open the Integration (Directory) builder successfully

2.the ESB has been working fine till the basis switched the PI system to the current server. Does that mean this issue is related with the server side?

Regards.

After the switch did your Basis guys performed the configuration activities? Are the services maintained properly under SICF....also check if the exchange profile values are proper.

Regards,

Abhishek.
