How to copy client from one system to another.

Hi folks,

I want to copy development client (SAP 4.7)of my company on my laptop SAP R/3 (4.7)system. Is there any way to do this?

Looking very strange!

Why you want to copy your company's client into your own laptop? any reason behind this?

By the way technically it is possible by client export&import or remote client copy....for this you have to change entire your landscape settings(include your laptop SID into your complany landscape and do a remote copy or do a client export, move the files by maual FTP and do client import into your laptop).

Hi folks, there is not any phony cause behind it, when I m on outdoor tour and if unable to get remote connection thru Internet, it becomes impossible for me to guide the user as setting in company are different.

I do not think this is good practice of having your Company related client copy into your personal laptop!

anyways....you need to perform remote client copy
