hello All,
we had installed SAP ERP 6.0 and did a EhP 4 installation, now we want to installa the Java Stack for our ERP. Have you got any idea about how to install the Java Add-in?
Thanks
You can install java addin via same sapgui provided you have the software. Also you can look at [service.sap.com/instguides]

Hi ,
in newer versions of sapinst it will not allow you to install abap & java in same database. If older Cds available with you then you can install java as add-in for ABAP via sapinst & you have to provide the client with which you want to integrate the java .
In case its a new CDs then you have install a separate databse for java with differabt SID & instance no wth option as application server java from sapinst.
Thanks..
Mohit
Hello,
SAP does not recommend dual stack installations for new ECC 6.0 installations.
JAVA should be on a seperate server.
Refer the above document.

If you have done "Central system " installation from Installation Master, ABAP + Java stack gets installed. Please check http://<hostname>:50000 (if instance is 00), and see if you can get netweaver page. If it comes, Java add-in is installed.
