SLD - Administrator password change. How?

Hello friends,

I am doing webdynpro using Java.

I am configuring SLD but I lost my administrator password.

Can anyone tell me how to change/reset password for http://localhost:50000/?

Please guide me how to/where to open particular file to change password.

Hi Ronny,

This depends on the UME that is used:

- If it's the ABAP stack, you can use Transaction SU01 to reset the password.

- If it's the J2EE, you can activate the SAP* user through the Configtool, restart the engine, logon as user SAP, reset the Administrator password, disable user SAP and restart the engine again.
