How to create PO in Backend by refering only vendor

Hi Experts,

Kindly let me know is there anyway that i can create po in Backend, if i only give prefer vendor in shopping cart.

We can create PO in Bcakend by giving contract or Inforecord. User requirement is he wants to only enter vendor no. and material desc. and it should create PO in backend,but we are getting below error.

"Error during determn of backend follow-on doc. for shopping cart 0010000307 / 0000000001".

We are having SRM 4.0 and patch level is SAPKIBKS09.

Hi KS,

You can use badi to convert prefered to fixed vendor in your shopping cart.

Thus, you will be able to create a PO in R/3 instead of a purchase requisition.

Hi Yann,

Thanks for your help. But this was because i was getting error 06-334 in backend. Error message was "In the case of a fixed vendor, please enter info record".

Instead of error i have changed status of this message to warning "W" instread of "E" in table "T160M". This solved my problem.
