Remote Configuration of the Adapter Engine in PI

Hi all,

I am trying to do Remote Configuration of the Adapter Engine using PI 7.1 Ehp1. Some information is available at links below:

What are you exactly trying to do? Is it that you want to create the configuration objects on PI server remotely by running a program from your client machine?

Yes, i am trying explore on how to create communication channel remotely(not using Integration Directory API) as it is a new feature ehp1.

For doing remote configuration, our userid should have Adapter Engine Administrator access , so what should be the role assigned to the user so that it has Adapter Engine Administrator access?
