Hello Folks,
Currently we're on SRM 4.0 and about to move to a SRM 7.0 environment with a portal. For using SSO and harmonizing the landscape we want to use one user ID across all systems.
Therefore we need to change the user IDs of almost all users in SRM. We cannot just create new users as there are already existing documents in the system. The SCs in approval WF as well as old documents still need to be accessible by the users afterwards.
Any ideas how to approach this topic?
Thanks in advance
Jens

There is a consulting service from SAP available. The User-ID harmonization will then done on DB-level based on a mapping table. There is no quick hit on this.

Good Hint - I will ask the same question on the Portal side of this forum.
Will keep you posted. Nevertheless is someone has an idea how this works without mapping please let me know.
Have fun

Hi,
I think portal side has some user ID mapping function.
