Delivery Qty. is lesser than Order Qty.

Order Qty. is 100

Doing delivery for Qty. 100 and picking Qty. 50

The error is

Delivery has not yet been put away/picked (completely)

Is there any control parameter to do this delivery, by taking lesser picking Qty. than Delivery Qty.

Or is it the standard one that we can't pick lesser Qty. than Delivery Qty.

Thanks

Hi,

While doing Delivery , the Delivery Quantity and Picking Quantity should always be same irrespective of the sales order quantity.

Delivery Quantity can certainly be less than order quantity. This may be due to several reason, such as insufficient stock, customers request, ...

In Delivery, it is important that as a principal Delivery Quantity should always be same as Pick Quantity. If the Pick Quantity is say 50 & Delivery Quantity is 100, change the Delivery Quantity to 50. The impact for remaining 50 which is reduced in Delivery will be that it will reflect in Open Sales Order.

Hi,

It's Standard SAP, you have to change delivery quantity (VL02N) then to pick up all the quantity.

Hi,

In the first line item ( 10) change the qty to 50 , then press '+' to pick the qty , it will allow.

Hi,

The picking quantity is always equal to delivery quantity. The system will show the order quantity as delivery quantity, say 100. If you want to pick only 50, change the delivery quantity as 50.

Hi,

It is standard behaviour that

"We can't pick lesser Qty. than Delivery Qty."
