java.io.EOFException when accessing tag information from OPC server

Hi All,

I have successfully established the connection the OPC server and SAP MII 12.1 SP4.

When I checked the status of the connection it is "Running".

so i created a TAG Query in order to pull display the tag data, but when i selected the tag and executed it is showing an error " java.i.EOFException"

Currently i am using SAP MII 12.1 SP 4, UDS 4.0 and Kepware OPC srever

Can anyone plz help in resolving this problem.

Shyam,

Although the connection shows running..there might be some security issues..

Also try to use the get method in your tag query.

Hi All,

This problem is resolved.

The soultion for this problem was, i was trying to execute this query in the internal frame and by post action.thats was when i was getting this error.

Now when i used get action and internal fram its started working.
