Outbound delivery VL10B

Hi ,

I am trying to create outbound delivery by using VL10B but am unable to get any output on screen.

Pl help.

Hi

Hope you are aware VL10B is for purchase orders delivery creation background

Things to be checked in purchase order

1.Do you have the shipping tab in the PO in the item details with shipping point and delivery type with all details flowing

Getting the shipping tab in PO is the main thing and if your PO doesnot have shipping tab then configuration is missing

2.Does your company has release strategy for POs

check in ME28

In VL10B

Are you inputting the correct shipping point? ( as in your PO)

Are you creating the delivery in the date as suggested by the system ( as in your PO in the shipping tab)

I am getting the shipping tab and there is no release strategy for the PO . Yet I am unable to do the delivery.

Hi

Have u checked the details in the shipping tab of STO now the delivery date

Delivery date is important

Check your PO? it should have any other errors( also use check option available in application toll bar in ME22N)

If these are correct

then in VL10B

CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt check this it should be 2 today and tomorrow

Check this input here

then execute your PO has to come

if doesnot come then in VL10B click purchase orders tab and enter your PO manually and then execute

atleast now it has to come

I feel your input data in VL10B is wrong or your PO has some other error

You must be trying to create delivery on a wrong date

Other than these there cant be anythingelse

I have done all that you have mentioned. Yet I am still not getting any output against VL10B.

You have simply told as everything checked?

Check once again all the pts mentioned in the previous posts and all the possible reasons has been already told

But are u creating delivey in the system suggested date in PO shipping tab will have delivery date

Does all the line items in your PO has the shipping tab

In VL10B have u input the PO manually in the purchase order tab and then executed?

Are u inputting the correct shipping pt which there in PO shipping tab in VL10B input data

Release strategy checked or not?

In the PO in the header details an additional tab would have come if the PO is blocked under release strategy

Check in ME23N

Hi,

VL10B is used for INTER-COMPANY SCENARIO, Please check the SHIPPING DATA for the Plants ( supplying plant and the receiving plant) in the configuration

Data will be missed in this transaction if the SHIPPING DATA is not availble

Goto the Path

IMG->MATERIAL MANAGEMENT->PURCHASING>PURCHASE ORDERS->SET UP STOCK TRANSPORT ORDERS-->DEFINE SHIPPING DATA FOR THE PLANTS.

if you do it, then in the Purchase order, you will get the SHIPPING TAB

If you got the SHIPPING TAB then only you can use VL10B

please cehck and revert back if you need any more details
