Unable to change printer settings

Hello,

I'm trying to change my printer settings (font, margin etc) using SPAD tcode. I go to SPAD, click on "full administration", go to "device types" tab and paste my printer's device type there. Then I click on "display", and go to "formats", click on the format I'll use (X_90_120) and "printer initialization". All I need to change are font sizes and page spacing. But when I edit the code in live system and try to print a page to check the new layout, there are no changes in the output. I changed the whole code but nothing happens. I'm sure I'm using the same printer and same settings for this change. This is driving me insane, S.O.S please!!

You say that you do the change in live environment? Did you test in development system?

What standard device type is it based on?

Could you "retain the print file" (debug tab in the output device in SPAD) and paste from beginning up to the text if it's not too long?
