Facing issue while installing SAP 4.7 EX2

Hello,

While installing DB instance for SAP 4.7 facing issue...

ERROR 2009-12-16 17:21:07

FSL-06002 Error 216 (Unknown, try 'net helpmsg <Nr>') in execution of a 'CreateProcess' function, line (284), with parameter (E:\usr\sap\D60\SYS\exe\run/brconnect ...).

I 'm stuck in runnign Update Database statistics step..any help is really appreciated..

Can you post a bigger portion of the log? also does the user have local admin rights?

user logged in has got Administrator right. Also do we need to log in with sidadm for installing DB instance or administrator user is sufficient?

Getting error, when we are using BRtools 6.4

ERROR 2009-12-16 19:28:41

CJS-00288 Could not update database statistics.<br>DIAGNOSIS: Command brconnect -u / -c -f crsyn -o SAPD60 returned 3.<br>SOLUTION: See brconnect.log for details.,

when we are using latest tools of Br 7.0

Also r3trans is failing...reason is ERROR => Cannot connect: TNS-name missing

Any advice...i have also added parameter dbs_ora_tnsname

Check that your listener is running.... also check tnsnames.ora

Hello,

Just for caution check if archivelog directory is not full- /oracle/<DBSID>/oraarch is the standard file system.

Could you please let us know how you are performing the installation.

Are you doing a High Availability or distributed installation

You path E:\usr\sap\D60\SYS\exe\run/brconnect gives doubts.

D60 - Mostly represents dialog instance.

Where is Central Instance, mostly will be like DVEMGS...

Also 4.7 Installation, when ECC is now on EHP4.

Its OK if you are doing additional installation in existing landscape and not planning for production with 4.7

PS: SAP 4.7 installation does not high available option in it.

Problem solved by installing correct BRTools relevant files...

Earlier i had given exe files for BRTools from R/3 4.7 EXT2...but instead of that corrected by giving of R/3 4.7 only...EXT2 was giving problem.
