FTPS Sender Adapter Error

Hi Experts,

I am configuring a FTP sender channel, using FTPS for Control Section (field Connection Security). I ll get the error message:

"An error occurred while connecting to the FTP server 'ftp.myHost.com:990'. The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 520 Control connection prematurely closed by server'. For details, contact your FTP server vendor."

I tried already:

- Data Connection "Active" and "Passive"

- Test of all settings for Command Order

- Use X.509 Certificate for Client Authentification: checked and not checked

- Connection Mode: Permanently and Per File Transfer

- checked the firewall log, all traffic is accepted

always with the same error. Apparently the error is not caused by adapter configuration, but does anybody have an idea what could be the reason for the error?

check if 990 port is used on for FTPS and if it is open.

Hi Udo,

Check whether the ID which is used in Communication channel having Read and Write access on FTP server.
