material block in distribution channel

How do i block a particular material for a particular distribution channel

Hi,

Yo can create a speicific stats for the Distribtion channel and assign this to the Material master in the MM02 at Sales Org View 1.

Create this status in the Below path

SPRO>LOGISTICS GENERAL->MATERIAL MASTER->SETTINGS FOR KEY FIELDS->DATA RELEVANT FOR SALES AND DISTRIBTION--->DEFINE SALES STATUS.

Create the status if you need new and assign this in the field DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL SPECIFIC STATUS.

Hi

I think in standard it is not possible to block a material for a particular distribution channel

But +you can block a material for a particular distribution chain+ (combination of sales org + Distribution channel)

Hope you are aware of the difference between distribution channel and distribution chain

In MMR sales org data 1 you have distribution chain specfific status

There you can assign block

The config of that area is done in T code OVSU
