update SPAM

Hello everyone, I update SPAM (KD70037), the old version is KD70026, in the step current action: SPAM update import , spent about six hours, Not completed，is normal? , The system no error message. SPAM status IS RED.

If there are any entries delete them and rerun the SPAM update

grep for "tp" process , if you see it running , you can go to /usr/sap/trans/tmp , /usr/sap/trans/log

and see whether any logs are getting generated . IF there are logs generated its better to wait for the SPAM to complete.

Yes SPAM update should complete in 15 mins approx but i have seen cases where activation of reports in spam taking a long time .

Did you check the log files in trans directory. Check RDD* jobs are running in 000? You may want to run report RDDNEWPP if needed.

Its not normal. It should not take more than 5-15 min to update SPAM.

Did you run update statistics before applying SPAM update & also plz check if missing statistics available in you system .Please check with these two points & rectify if any missing statistics are present in DB02old Tcode.

After this your SPAM update will work fine.
