Availability check and short closing of order quantity

Hello,

I am facing the following issue:

1) Stock availability for scrap - 20 MTs

2) Have an order for scrap for 15 MTs with confirmed schedule line for entire quantity.

3) I created a delivery against the above SO for 13 MT. The balance quantity was short closed in the order by assigning reason for rejection - item level.

4) I am creating a new SO for 7 MTs. But the system is only confirming 5 MTs.

My question is why is the system not adding back 2 MTs that is shortclosed in the earlier SO?

Is there any configuration settings that i need to do to resolve the issue.

Shall be grateful for inputs.

Dear Manoj,

It is not possible; system not automatically changed the quantity in the sale order.

You have go to sale order and change the Quantity 13 MT or create the delivery 2MT against same sale order.
