I have sent messages to SAP, and they will delivery new patches.

they said"

This issue is fixed in version 7.1.03.68 (Or higher)

The fixed version will be loaded to the SMP when passes QA."

thanks for your guys' time.

Hi,

We get this error when TCP/IP connection between any MDM component & MDM Server is lost. I guess, you got disconnected from network.

Hi shen,

Please refer SAP Note: 413330 for solution, however it happens when An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host. This normally results if the peer application on the remote host is suddenly stopped, the host is rebooted.

Hi !

Is this error specific to MDM Import Manager ? The client and server are not on the same host. when we execute the import in MDM Import Manager , it get's stuck and gives this error . Do we have any setting to avoid this error ?

Thanks !

Only to import manager.I don't think it is network or hardware problem., but because of unstable MDM system.

If you split data into smaller pieces and then import them, this will work better.

HI Shen !

Thanks for the response . I tried tht . I tried 2 scenarios .

Scenario 1 : Import Individual supplier catalog files .

Scenario 2: Imported one single file with all catalogs.

In both cases , we faced this error : Windows socket Error.

Is there any sizing guide for MDM 7.1 and is it mandatory for SRM MDM Catalog solution?

Pls advice on any possible remedy .

Thanks !
